About Kim

I’m Kimberly Gerena, the founder of Flourish Salon & Spa and I’ve been immersed in the beauty industry since I was 18 years old. With over 20 years of experience under my belt, I still find joy in learning something new every day. Whether it’s taking courses at the Redken Exchange, Bellami extension classes, competing, or diving into Upstyling education, I just can’t get enough of expanding my knowledge. Every aspect of the beauty industry sparks my creativity and keeps me driven in my salon.

Why I Started Flourish

Since I was a little girl I had a dream to work with people and help them look and feel beautiful. This dream drove me to establish Flourish Salon & Spa and build a talented team that shares my passion, which has been a great success and continues to grow. After gaining valuable knowledge and experience working for others, I felt a strong calling to create something of my own. In 2021, Flourish Salon & Spa was born, and since then, it has been thriving and exceeding expectations. Myself and my amazing staff’s passion for making people feel beautiful and look their best has truly blossomed into a successful business that fulfills my lifelong dream.
